Linds, if there's anything I love, it's looking at old family photos. :-D

They are 'tight as a drum' inflated Ginns as my grandchildren can testify when they keep getting them out and 'whacking' each other with them' !!

I have been rescuing them from them on and off for several years now but they are still intact ! :-D

they arrived

and we've survived the first night!!

We met them at about 11:45 pm from the plane ........... then had to wait around for their bags to appear. So it was almost 12:30 am our time when we got home ....... that was 4:30 am their time. We are less than 10 minutes from the airport

Little Tiddley had woken at 5 am Friday morning, gone to Daycare, had a 90 minute nap in the afternoon .................... and had all of 30 minutes sleep on the plane!

One very overtired little boy ....... but surprisingly good.

He had awake for more than 24 hours by the time we all got to bed.

We all got to bed about 1:15 am our time ................ and we started hearing noises from him at about 7:15 am. Not bad!

OH has taken them out to Ikea ............. we had a HUGE new one built to replace the old one. It only opened the end of April, and we haven't yet been ................. but I didn't really fancy a trip there on a Saturday!

Anyway, back has been a bit sore.

J wanted some stuff, including some to use here ... they will have lunch there, come home, put Tiddley to bed ...... and the we'll go out for coffee :-D

and ............ it give me time to play on the 'puter!

I think Tiddley is another who will be charming the girls in the future

he has wonderful smiley eyes, and a huge grin!

Now if we could only understand all the words pouring out of him, we'd be fine!

It really is as though he is from another country!

Syls....there is no such thing as a 'small' Ikea!!

SylviaInCanada

SylviaInCanada Report 14 Jul 2012 20:40

then you might be able to imagine how big the new one is!

Gee

Gee Report 14 Jul 2012 20:54

Ikea are good for 'disposable' stuff...never get so called 'solid' stuff

..............pants

Dea

Dea Report 14 Jul 2012 20:57

I believe they are good for a very cheap breakfast but the things they have inside are indeed (as you call them) 'pants' !!!

Haven't been there for years but I seem to remember that they are much like 'the dark side' !! - It is VERY easy to get VERY lorst !!!
