Busy, busy, day until about 3pm and then it was chillax time. I sat outside in the sunshine with some ice cream and really enjoyed it. It was almost like summer. :-D


OH decided he wanted to go for a walk this afternoon to see how the renovation work on a local bridge was going on. I can watch his progress across the field and we have a system whereby he stops and I wave to him - either from the bedroom window or by standing on the garden bench.

What makes me laugh is, the country lane to the bridge is closed except for access to the single row of houses. The number of cars which ignore the closed/diversion sign is incredible - I can see them from my kitchen window. They drive stubbornly on and then, you see their brake lights as they reverse into a small opening between the fields. Silly people!


Dea, you have gone back to normal? What's it like? I haven't been normal for yonks...... :-D :-D :-D

As much as I really LOVE my grandchildren, they are very exhausting, especially when you struggle to breath on a good day ;-) :-)

Went to pick grandson up and grand-daughter decided she wanted to come too !!!

Wednedsay is Grand-daughter's day so I DO hope I can persuade grandson that he doesn't want to come too !!!

One at a time, I can manage but two together are very hard work !!

THEN, they are both coming for a 'sleepover' on Friday so you will be lucky if you see me before Sunday !!! :-D

Going for my assessment for a blue badge parking permit in the morning - Shame they couldn't have done it this afternoon - they would have given me two AND a bravery award !!! :-D :-D :-D

Go for it.....stuff em in, in one go



I prefer the former, as my mouth isnt as big as some ;-)

Oh Dea I know what you mean it is lovely to have the grandchildren but they can be exhausting
