Morning Dea :-D

My word, you're up and about early today. Thank you for the delicious porridge - you're getting a dab hand at making it.

Quiet morning for me followed by taking daughter to lunch and then on to her brother's house. Later on, they are all going to the German markets in Manchester so I probably won't see her until tomorrow sometime.

Meanwhile.......I will.........chillax...... :-D

It's all very quiet here today !!!

I am off out soon to see Santa AGAIN !!

Taking grandchildren to the Christmas Party at the Golf Club and he will be there too :-D

I would have thought he would be a bit busy wrapping all the presents to be going to all these parties ;-)

Grandson is goind to be 'beside himself' when he opens his present and sees that he has a 'rock guitar' which he' SO wants' (according to him) !

Hope grand-daughter likes her Barbie Car present too :-)

See you all later.

Dea Report 16 Dec 2012 20:12

I have been with Santa Linds :-D

I have to say, he must have been working VERY hard because he seems to have lost at least 2 stone since I saw him only last week !! - His large tummy was looking quite slim ;-)

Goodnes knows what he will look like by the time Christmas is over :-D

Hope your M-I-L has a lovely 85th birthday !! <3

Have a lovely time at the party Linds - sounds like had fun and knew just when to leave!!!

Settled down to browse around and then had a visitor........so only just back.

Tis certainly a bit quiet.

Never mind, we'll no doubt make up for it during the week.

Wonder how our Sylvs is getting on??

Gee

Gee Report 16 Dec 2012 21:27

Oh dear...repeating yourself Cyn

Cynthia

Cynthia Report 16 Dec 2012 21:59

I've deleted one Gins. Must have been caused by the hiccups cos my day has been a bit like that... :-D

Was a bit stressed this morning because I had forgotten to set the alarm on my phone and we need to get up at 6.45 so that OH's meds fit in with him being able to go you know where for 11 am.

Didn't get up till 7 am so that meant we were 15 mins behind time and those 15 mins really matter. We only just made it cos of the delay. At 10 oclock he couldn't even lift his razor to have a shave. By 10.15 he finished getting ready and by 10.30 we were in the car.....................huge sigh of relief all round..... :-D

On Christmas Day we will have to get up 5.45 to get to the special 10am service................sheeeeeesh......zzzzzzzzz no rest for the wicked ;-)

Think I may take meself orf to bed now.........too much excitement for one day

Night night all..........xx

My Dads sister sent me some photos of my GG's they go back to 1890 .Have one of my GGran when she was 18.

Also one of her in uniform holding one of her granchildren who was a new baby she was a midwife and had 10 children.

I am now lucky enough to have photos of 7 of my GGparents no one can remember ever seeing a photo of the missing GG :-(

My Aunt got the photos ages ago from her sister in Canada (now deceased) and she never knew her Grandparents names (?) I was able to tell her their names their siblings names and their DOB and DOM and the date they died.

MY GGrandad looks like one of my Dads brothers :-)
