Good morning all........and thank you for breakfast Sylvs.......I just love Hot Cross buns but will only eat them after Maundy Thursday for a couple of weeks. It makes them a real treat when the time comes round again :-D


I don't enjoy coming in through the 'back door' of a thread - it makes me feel all upside down and inside out..... :-( :-(


Looks like a glorious day out there.......Friday lunch and then probably shopping with daughter. I is worn out I is. ;-)


Dropped OH for his morning walk yesterday and off he toddled. I then came home, did a few jobs whilst keeping an eye out of the kitchen window for signs of him coming home along the lane.

(He is encouraged to walk as often as possible to help with his muscle flexibility.)

Eventually, he appeared in the distance and I raced outside, jumped onto the garden bench and furiously waved a yellow tee shirt to show that I had seen him.

This is our normal behaviour! I either wave from outside or from the bedroom window - sad or what??

I'm always relieved to see him as I am on constant alert in case he phones to say he can't make it back.

When he got back in, he said that he had slowed down half way round and that it took longer than normal.

A short while later, he came to find me and, sheepishly, admitted that he had forgotten to take his second lot of medication! :-0

Yes Sylvs, - That is what I am doing but it means that I am reading forwards going up the page rather than down - don't like it !

Paddy says, "Well me and Mary haven't been getting on in the bedroom lately and the therapist recommended I do something sexy to a tractor."

Paddy says to Mick, “I'm ready for a holiday, only this year I'm going to do it a bit different.

3 years ago I went to Spain and Mary got pregnant.

2 years ago I went to Italy and Mary got pregnant.

Last year I went to Majorca and Mary got pregnant.

Mick asks, “So what are you going to do this year?”

Paddy replies, “I'm taking Mary with me!”

Ha ha ha.....loved them Jonesey, just what I need after the buddy week Ive had


You see, us Irish can take a joke about 'us'!

Im pooped and cant wait for a glass or two of wine later :-) Before that, washing, dishwasher, hoover and dust....oh and think of something to eat for the Friday gang

Just popping in cos have been busy all day and had a visitor tonight ..... then I had to take daughter home. Am just catching up........will go for a browse to see what I've missed......if anything... :-D

Going to bed now as got to get up early to go to get my eyes tested (was at Doc's today cos have had a headache for 2 weeks and he wants me to get my eyes tested - just in case :-( )

I came out of Doc's with enough tablets to make me rattle for the next week ;-)

Hope those tablets help Linds and that you don't rattle too much - I am strictly a '17 a day' person just at the moment so I'm glad I don't have a headache - they are not making me rattle but they don't half make my tummy gurgle !! ;-) :-D :-D :-D.

Ok got the all clear from Optician he said to tell Doc they were pleased with my results so nothing to do with my specs :-)

Don't know what is causing headache not stress or an allergy I think its my sinuses. Got anti biotic and have to go back to see Doc in 10 days.

So another case of wait and see. :-)
