I'm sure my days are getting longer....I never seem to have a minute. Hopefully tomorrow will be more relaxed and I want the weather to stay reasonable so that I can visit my friend in hospital.


Our heat went off again today but after we had had our showers thank goodness. Man came out and chopped some of the pipe off or wotever. Temporary measure till Monday apparently when he will fit the expensive doofah.


Just think, 48 hours and Fans is on her way! It's gonna be quiet round here innit?

I don't think they quite understand genealogy as to me they think the bigger your tree indicates it's well researched

Yeah whats all this with big trees. I was looking on ancestry last night and I was getting angry that someone had my grandfather in his tree. He was related but not close enough for my liking

There was a car in the Co-op car park today with the numberplate DEA....Nope ,no escape..
But if I see any with GIN or CYN on I think I shall go into hiding..

I have banned my OH from working on my tree. Not because he is a name collector just because it wants to add in twigs of cousins marriages and then their parents.

I did research a name which appeared in both sides of my tree and was surprised to find that there was a family connection but not where I expected.

found some storage "thingies" to try out ....... but Ikea was crazy! It was as bad as a weekend.

MC ----------- yes, I grew up in Oldham, but sort of skirted Lees.

I was born and lived for 11 years in Glodwick, where the race riots were a few years. Then we moved to Waterhead on the other side of Oldham, on the main Huddersfield Road. Lees was in between the two!
