Have fun Fans

Feeling a bit mad at the moment, when I first joined this site almost a year ago I managed to get in contact with an old friend by searching the trees and contacting a cousin of hers.
I have only spoken to her on the phone and decided I did'nt want contact with her so have been avoiding any phone calls from her for the last 4 or 5 months.
My eldest daughter was at play group with her son and had not seen him since she was 4 so no big deal there I thought !!!
When she visited me last in August I showed her a photo of him on FB...I have just noticed she is a friend of his now...who got in touch with who I wonder?? I am sure she would'nt have remembered his surname a few months later or did she??

Friend is'nt into computers at all so I am sure she did'nt ask son to find her to get to me...who knows, shall speak to her later

I guess you guys need a good hot breakfast again today, if it has turned out to be as cold as the newsmen were saying!


So the fire is burning bright.

and breakfast is served


Cold Cereal
Corn Flakes, RaisinBran, AllBran, CocoaPops

Hot Cereal
Porridge, Cream of Wheat

In the warmers:-
Bacon, ham, turkey sausages, breakfast sausages, eggs any style, grilled mushrooms, grilled tomatoes, baked beans, chef's potatoes


Toast, croissants, bagels, Danish pastries


Jams, jellies, Marmite


Tea, coffee, juices

Grey skies and mist as forecast here. Still no snow - wrong type or otherwise!


There is an icicle over 12" long hanging from our boiler outlet pipe.


This fire of Sylvs is so tempting.....could stay by it all day.


Just realised....if there were more post and run folk on last night...it's more work for me.....arrgghh..

She has probably stuck her on a plane and sent her back lol

I asked my daughter yesterday if her school was shut because of the snow....they have hardly got any she said there was only 1cm. Saw a photo in the paper today and there is one little patch in the middle of England where it was clear and it was Cambridge...very strange

Snow...Ja...x its all here in Yorkshire

I went to clear the car off earlier and an hour later....I used the floor mop.
Rev the engine a bit to give the battery a boost and after about 15 mins the engine warning light came on!!!!

Crikes...........Ive left her sitting all sad on the road
