	Is the Alhambra in Granada still open?? There were worries a few years ago that it was subsiding and that they would have to close it to the public ?? Dea x

Member Since: June 2008 Posts: 3,659 Send Message	Dea No still hundreds visit every single day --- you have to pre book your tickets -- I tried last Oct for my brother a week before they came from France --- and all sold out -- they said come at 8-30 am and wait in case there were spaces They waited to 11.30 and then came home I felt awful did not dream that in mid Oct there would be a problem with tickets!!! Have been loads of times -- about 7 or so times with my school - last couple of times - just sat with the old girls who can·t walk al the way around Best trip I had was to a Closed Order Convent --to see two Nuns 1 from our village and 1 from the next village -- the Nuns stayed behind scrolled screens - whilst we all sat around a long table - passing food back and forward - and singing old folk songs - and the Nun clapping - even Mother Superior Never in my life did I ever imagine that one day I would be doing that - it was very moving I shall never forget it -

	Bluewater was reopened today. They must have lost millions over the past 2 days. Helped them out a bit today. Got some Christmas shopping and some boots. Feet are killing me now.

	amazing how few postings there are with Fans being away :))) Hope you got some good things LK, worth having aching feet then! I'm going to go downtown tomorrow .... but it's mainly to buy some things for myself! s xx

	I think you guys need to keep warm .... so a big breakfast this morning, instead of brunch The fire is burning bright. and breakfast is served Cold Cereal:- Corn Flakes, RaisinBran, AllBran, CocoaPops, Triple Berry Oatmeal Crisp Hot Cereal:- Porridge, Cream of Wheat In the warmers:- Bacon, ham, turkey sausages, breakfast sausages, omelette, or eggs any style, grilled mushrooms, grilled tomatoes, baked beans, hash browns, fried bread, black pudding Toast, croissants, bagels, Danish pastries Jams, jellies, Marmite Tea, coffee, juices enjoy Keep safe s xxx

	Night Sylvs.....x Oh so quiet here......the Friday night gang stayed over and still all upstairs sleeping....shhh I'll grab a croissant.....they dont make any noise!

	Mmmm I have not had porridge for years. Perfect in this weather. Slight thaw here today. The noise of dripping water from the roof to the conservatory is incredible. And I have just seen a train!

	Sylvs, how did you know I love fried bread? Naughty but nice! Thanks. I think (hope) there is a bit of thaw here tonight. Our heating is off again despite the fact that the pipe is now vertical! I knocked the large icicle from it hoping that would help........but no. Am going up a ladder with a hot mop shortly! Wotsup Ja...x? why the scream? Bet your boots ain't as good as Renes LK....lol Now to wrap up warmly and get the stepladders............. Hope Renes and Fans et al have a wonderful day. It will be interesting to see what they get up to.
