COLLEEN
Sorry no baptism for William John Brown in Long Wittenham.
The marriage disc gives 31/10/1817 in Hanwell for Elizabeth Baker to marry John Brown, the parish transcript disc give 31/10/1820 so this could be the mother of John Brown, especially as her father was William Baker.
Not much help here sorry

Thanks heaps Margaret.

""The marriage disc gives 31/10/1817 in Hanwell for Elizabeth Baker to marry John Brown, the parish transcript disc give 31/10/1820""

which do you think would be more accurate marriage disc or parish reg.? William was born 1818
An Elizabeth Brown was buried 27th Dec 1820 Long Wittenham. aged 21 She would have been newly married according to parish reg. and 19 when she had William.

Thanks Colleen
