Find Ancestors

Hello Everyone.
I'm trying to find parents and sibling of my Great Grandfather Charles David Nicholls , he was born ( according to his birth certificate )25 Feb 1862 at ``The Bank`` New Radnor , in the counties of Radnor and Hereford, Reg District Presteigne.
His father was David Nicholls and mother was Emma Evans .
I have been trying to locate Charles David in the 1861 census to find his family but the only one that turns up on GR is a Charles J. Nicholls born 1858.
I have hit a brick wall with my paternal side of the family so having a go at the maternal side , It will be great if you could help me find Charles David's family.

If he was born in 1862 or 1871 as that census says he would'nt be on the 1861 census.

I can't find David on the 1861 but they married in June quarter so Emma could be under her maiden name if they married after April.
