Natasha mine was yesterday afternoon,i was trying to look at the marriage record's.
it was ok on page1 but everytime I tried to get on any other page's the error message came up,
I have had this on the census record's also
it also happen's when reading a thread and you try to get onto the next page.

please get it sorted sooner rather than later,

what is going on with this site, all I want to do is chat ,research my ancestors and put them on my tree,

another day's work just sat there.

Absolutely disgraceful GR

It has taken almost 4 days to remove a post on General Chat Board.

Are you really saying by the lack of actions and feedback that no one from the Support / Abuse Team actually works at the weekends. Or have they been overwhelmed by the reporting that has taken place over the last 4 days and need a second opinion from the Head of Support.

I hope the Team take action and quickly to stop this type of thing happening again.

Oh dear GR I think you need a major rethink of when exactly you have members of the Support/Abuse Team working.

A thread on Find Ancestors Board was reported on Friday - presumably because the poster display their email addy - and has still not been reinstated.

A green light is being given to anyone that wants to post a thread that is going to get sent for review and it stay on the boards for days.

I contacted Support on Friday at 12:25 because I thought a couple of threads might give trouble but even that has not been acknowledged.

Natasha must be on holiday as absent from the boards as well.

As previous stated I would be available to work for GR at weekends and evenings ;-)

I also reported to the abuse manager on Friday morning abt 11am a thread that might give trouble and have had no reply and the offending posts are still their, plus my concerns have been proved to be justified and correct.

Probably one of the ones that I mentioned to the Support Team Roy.

So 2 of us that raised concerns and not the slightest bit of notice taken by the Team.

GR say in their link to the abuse manager

I want to report abusive or unsuitable content.

If you wish to report any abuse of the system please contact our abuse manager and we will quickly remove the offensive material. (Please do not use this email address for any other queries. They will not be answered.)

Natasha also said that when a thread/post is reported for review that it instantly flags up on their system so why do threads remain for days and on occasion members have had to inform GR through their FB page that a thread has not received their attention.

- Apparently there is a bug; although on the boards there are still reported posts waiting to be reviewed, in the site's system everything awaiting review has been cleared.

As, I too have been asked to notify GR, of any thread that I believe could be contentious

Joy, I do wish GR would stop blaming a BUG for all the site problems.

Who has developed the site? Answer GR

So who put the BUG their in the first place? or are they saying that the site is not secure? and a hacker is responsible?

Is the development team not able to make "improvements" without introducing more BUGS?


Edit, A "Bug" doesn't explain why sending a message direct to the team/abuse manager and there for bypassing the report button still goes unanswered

That will be the BUG again then, The boards a awash with posts/threads that are awaiting review,

Plus the messages sent to the abuse manager on Friday and this very morning

Weren't we told that employees were monitoring the Reported posts over the weekends and in the evenings? This doesn't seem to be the case at the moment.
