Hi All,

What a struggle getting on here!! I slept very well last night and didn't wake up at all till this morning....it must be this cold I have. Hope you soon feel a bit better Easter Bunny.

I have trouble with boobs and tum being in the way too!!! I have to contort myself to trim toenails and find the inside edge of the big toe hardest to do!! Why can I not trim them in one piece like I used to.....now they snap off in hard bits in all directions and have to be filed. I also can't undo the zips on the back of dresses....its a right game.....not that I seem to wear dresses these days!!!

Aarrgghhh....the 'change' has happened to my wardrobe too......nothing too fitted, too short, too bright, too shiny, too see through, too thick, too hot or too light in colour if eating.....oh, no!!!

Hello!!!Well I am proud of myself 41/2 hours without using pooter Not sure what I have actually got done in that time though.Washing ,ironing ,hoovering and a bit of shopping Sorry about all those swear words lol
Then my son arrived back from a few days in Kent at the girlfriends. We were just stood on the patio watching a beautiful Red Kite just hovering maybe 20 ft above the garden.I wish I had had my camera out there.Son took the dog over the back field about an hour ago and saw a fox with (he thinks) a cub!!
I think I may carry on with the good work and do a bit of WEEDING!!!!!

Afternoon ladies,

Tried to say a quick hello this morning, but couldn't get on to the GR site...then eventully just had to go to bed as tiredness took over. I always think I'll have a job getting to sleep, but my trick is (and it works everytime) I have my 'Alan Bennett Diaries' audio tapes and I put one on and never hear the end of it, as his voice lulls me to sleep!! Better than a sleeping tablet...his voice really relaxes me!

AB couldn't believe my eyes about the beetroots! I'm the same I have atleast one aday in a salad or sandwich or just cut up...my nan always said they were good for you. apparantly there good for BP as you say and they ...well how do I put this ...keep me regular. I buy the vacuum packed ones, as you say AB not the ones in vinegar. I've eaten them like that for a couple of years now.

Getting back to piddling problems i've had one normal delivery and on 'c 'section, but I used to wet myself laughing as a youngster if my friends made me laugh...my mum was the same apparantly and my aunts too!

Nice to see the thread gathering strengh...we'll be going on tour next year at this rate...or be made into a film at the very least!!

My hubby makes me laugh, if he pops his (bald) head round the door and see's that I'm on this thread, he kind of mumbles and walks out. If I'm on any other one he has a nose!!

Pam.xx

Helen,

Wolf whistles ....LOL you are so lucky.

I used to hate them at one time always felt a bit tarty when some one wolf whistled me.....BUT NOW ...I WISH lol

Jane

Jane Report 21 Apr 2009 20:51

Marilyn it wasn't a serious wolf whistle lol. They were probably taking the P.
It always used to be the builders that did wolf whistles off the building sites.as me and my friend flounced past in our minis, flicking our hair back !!!!!
Haven't told you all about the day I was mooned at by a chap in a white van as I was driving on the Motorway !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.It was the passenger ...not the driver PMSL

I must say my diet is going extremly well...I had a good tea and now am sitting in front of the comuter with two Mr Kipling lemons slices and a Muller strawberry rice, it's low fat, so I won't put on any weight atall! I did think, oooh should I ...then thought bollo*ks I will!!

AB thought your job application and marathon posts we're very good. ☺

Harpstrings

Harpstrings Report 21 Apr 2009 21:19

I supply my builders bacon butties. They cannot do enough for you!
Well, may be I should narrow that down, that would be erecting things, oh gosh, no, professional services - oh cripes its getting worse. you know what I mean lol

As for wolf whistles, I never turn my head, they are soo not for me any more. I just get sniggered at these days :(

I am waiting for the day when some "young man" helps me across the road, when I dont need any help crossing the blnky road lol

I got on the bus with my walking stick and had a guy give up his seat for me, he was older than me! Tsk!

☼ Pam ☼ Report 21 Apr 2009 21:22
