Sheffield

Beautiful sunny day,no more snow, touch wood, and roads seem a bit clearer but still no buses on our route.

Cats still refuse to go out despite having lovely fur coats.

So,this is global warming then!!

Jean (Monmouth) Report 3 Dec 2010 19:02

No snow here today, nice bit of sun to look at, but freezing cold. Temp outside is just down to freezing. Was lying on the bed with my feet up as instructed, so didnt put the heating on again after 1pm as i was snuggled under a fleece blanket doing crossstitch. But i got too cold even then and had to get up and put the heating on. Takes me about an hour to warm up, and now i read that people with underactive thyroid are very susceptible to cold. So now I know why my hands are freezing when Oh is nice and warm!

West Berkshire
8:00am
Temperature about 2C yes that is +
Still looks very slippery outside. Hoping it will melt and go away but doubt it and another freeze tonight predicted. So will probably be worse.

Think we will be staying in until Hubby goes to work again at lunchtime.

Have a safe day everyone

A lot warmer here in Conwy today. We had rain last evening and throughout the night. Most of the snow has gone now apart from on the hills.
