Trish Report 18 Jan 2004 07:12

You know me, I'm from High Wycombe, we could've walked past each other at one time! Had the eldest in the General in the ward overlooking the football ground. Worked in Boots and then Bellmans (opposite Murrays).

I was born in Henley on Thames and lived in Fingest till I was 5 and started school in Turville, which I understand is the village in the Vicar of Dibley. A beautiful part of the world.

Hi Leonard Thanks for your reply. I am researching the Norris family of Ibstone. Sarah Norris married by G.Grandfather Caleb Bird from Stokenchurch. They left the area c. 1875. Sarah's brother Jesse went with them and they ended up in Sunbury-upon-Thames. Funnily enough we came up to 'Stokie' as I affectionately call it yesterday. Regards Sarah.
