6.03pm

HERE I AM, I can't move without you worrying about me. THANKS.

Alls well, I spoke to Mel a few minutes ago. and said I was coming on line.

Yesterday, we had to go to Tesc# for some shopping and Ros needed to go to town. The nurse never came till 11.00am. So we didn't get out till nearly 1.00pm. got back about 3.30 Ros was knackered, I got dinner on, and dropped on in the armchair. We had dinner about 6pm By the time i'd washed and dried up and cleaned down it was 7.30. I settled down in front of Tele and that was me done for.

Had terrible indigeston right in the middle of my chest. Felt like a heard of Elephants on my chest. Still got it, Tried everything. Burping all the time but can't move it. Had a bad night with it, so laid in this morning. Didn't get dressed till 12.30pm. Lazy old SOD I hear you say.!!!!

Been getting car insurance quotes all afternoon. Mine has gone up £50.00 from last year up has gone the excess as well. Still haven't decided where to go, but have got till the 23rd to decide.

Ros is doing a chicken curry with the half chicken left over from yesterday. It will be ready in a few minutes.

BBL all being well.

We called and got some cobbles on the way to FIL's and offloaded them before we set off for lunch. It was at a nice old thatched pub in a pretty village. They do a smashing carvery, 4 meats, mash and roast pots, choice of 6 veg followed by a choice of 3 puds for less than £8 each. When you think a bacon bap plus cup of tea cost £6 each at the motorway services the other day!!!!!!

Glad you are ok Frank.......we do worry about you, especially after saying you were having those strange things happen when you want to turn one way but go the other!!

Mel I do some knee stretches every night since my knees went wonky and sometimes a muscle seems to twist and I hardly dare move for a few moments and then the muscle is sore for a few minutes. I can't stop it happening because I don't know why it happens.

A whole tufty tip of our cordyline blew off last night, so I am wondering what will be left by summer. Anne it is worrying when fences blow down. We had panels blow out one year and fly over the top of the bungalow, just missing the neighbour's car in the drive. After that we got stronger panels and OH was only saying this morning that it was worth every penny as they have stayed put since. Years ago mum had a six foot wall blow down. It was the year of those bad October gales....was it 1987?? Kew Gardens lost a lot of trees at that time.

OH certainly looks different now his hair and beard have had a severe trimming. He said it was keeping him nice and warm, but he asked me what I thought and I suggested it was verging on 'tramplike'.......next thing I arrive home to the sound of shaving!!!! lol

Hope you have a nice time Mandy.

Glad your OH is up and about a bit Liz. When I had an operation a few years ago they sent me out with a catheter for a week. What a palaver it was with it, especially in bed at night and showering!! I was so gad to get rid of it so I am sure your OH will be too......another step forward.

There you are Young Frank. You don't half get us girls worried.Maybe that curry will shift that indigestion .
My word I can hear the wind(no not you Frank). It sounds like it is howling now. When I was waiting for Hannahs train to get in the car was rocking like mad.I'm glad we are all in now.
Tonights dinner is that nice smoked haddock and macaroni cheesy thing. It looks a bit thick!I think I may have put a little too much macaroni in,so will pop a little water in I think.Chester is driving me barmy, but I cooked a bit of fish for him so he has had all he is getting, plus his normal dinner too.I think he might have a tummy ache now .
I hope Mandy has a lovely meal out tonight and doesn't get blown away.
Anne will be enjoying a glass of red with friends and thinking of her holiday.

We used to give patients Peppermint liquid when they couldn't have any more of their other medication.I enjoy a mint tea sometimes if I feel a bit indigestiony(sp) or windy.
It is good that we can get in touch if we are worried about someone isn't it.

You can't get rid of me now.

What a wind, next doors fence panels have started to move, I went down and proped them up with some large posts. Will have to get him to look at them.

The other February in very high winds, the neighbours Dormy window roof blew off, crashed against the side of the bungalow, and damaged my pipes and windows, missed the car by inches. Cost me £100.00 excess to get it sorted out. Should have claimed on his, but felt sorry for him.!!!

Had my curry, but stil got indigeston. Had a couple of COK#S keep burping but still got the chest pains.

Not looking good for the weekend, high winds and rain. Roll on SPRING. I have a lot of snowdrops out, and the daffs. are well up, so it won't be long.

Hi
Franks bowling game Not as quick as you lot
I scored 84 then 150, have to keep practiceing

Still sounds like a gale out side, decided to go shopping tomorrow instead of tonight, don't fancy going out in all that rain.
I'm Looking forward to April when the 1911 Scottish Census will be on line. going to cost me a fortune, I have a lot of Scottish ancestors/ relatives , I know where most of them will be, but I probably will find a few surprises to along the way.

Hope your comfortable soon Frank I know how you must be feeling. I take Gaviiscon but if it's really bad I have to take 1 Omeprazole, and that helps.
I had really bad pain and it turned out to be Helicobactor Pylori which is a stomach infection if you don't improve Frank , go and see your GP

Jane Report 4 Feb 2011 21:39

It's a bit addictive that bowling game lol.I got 4 strikes in a row one time.
I am off to bed soon so am popping in to say Night Night.
Frank I hope that pain is gone by the morning. Are you on any meds that could cause it?Just a thought.
See you all again tomorrow xx

Morning All
I hope we have all survived a very windy night. There are lots of panels from the second greenhouse lying on the ground down the garden!!.Little job for Chris later me thinks.I looked out the front window and see that the Palms next door have lost their leaves.2 are totally stripped.
I hope Anne hasn't had anymore damage. It looks much worse in Yorkshire than here, and we still haven't had any rain.
I need my second cup of tea now so will BBL

Morning Jane and all,

Still windy here too and last night we had a little rain, not much though.

Shirls pics of her snow arrived and there was loads. All piled up in the road etc.

Ann your pics were lovely as usual and I have saved the one of our Gordon looking all smart with his pint in his hand.

Have'nt got on today as I did'nt get up till nearly 10am. I watched a program late last bight on all the old pop stars. It was a bit adictive seeing Mick Jagger and The Beatles all young once again. They also had more people on there, Iggy Pop, Manfred Mann's Paul, Eric Burdon, Alison Moyet, Joni Mitchell, The Who, Hermans Hermits, Joe Brown, Bruce Welch from the Shadows and others that escape my mind at the moment. I was so tired and really wanted to go to bed but just had to stay and watch it.
