Im still wary of the dark side but hey ho have always been willing to try anything at least once ;-)

I have been looking at "that" thread need I say anything?

Wow it was quiet on here last night but tonight its on overload :-)

Im going to watch a film I taped (an old Waltons reunion) while OH is watching the footie :-)

The Snowbirds flew right over my house this morning, Sylvia. They did a flypast over my hometown this am since we're so close to Ottawa where they always do their Canada Day flypast. A wonderful sight! Happy Canada Day to you and all other Canucks on site.

Toast (sourdough, rye, white, whole grain, 100% brown, Hovis, gluten free),
crumpets,
hot cinnamon rolls,
croissants,
Danish,


bacon & cheese quiche,
cheese and onion tarts,
broccoli and cheddar quiche,

Ulster Fry-up

The Railroader - 2 eggs any style, 2 buttermilk pancakes, 2 slices bacon, 1 slice of ham, toast

The Continental – choice of assorted chilled fruit juices, hot oatmeal or assorted cold cereals, toast or fresh-baked muffin

Banana Pecan Pancakes, served with maple syrup, and choice of bacon, ham or breakfast sausage

Florentine Feta Cheese Omelette garnished with Hollandaise sauce, and served with chef’s hash browns and toast

Boiled eggs and toast

Scrambled eggs, bacon, baked beans, and toast

Chicken and basil sausages, 2 eggs any style, chef’s potatoes, toast

Maille Croque Monsieur (French ….. basically ham, cheese and tomato sandwich on toasted bread, with Maille Mustard),

Huevas Rancheros

vegetable couscous with wild blueberries,


Thai-style noodles and shrimp,

stirfry (chicken, or vegetarian),

Chicken Karage (Japanese deep fried chicken pieces)

cheese and tomato pie

Veggie Wrap (Fresh Tomatoes, Basil, Roasted Peppers and Feta Cheese)

Cheese burger, with onion rings, mushrooms, lettuce and tomato

Smoked ham hock, with house fries

Hummus served in a lettuce cup with warm pita bread, slices of cucumber and tomato


cheesy potato patties
home-fried potatoes with garlic and bacon

blueberry gingered lemon muffins,
lemon and nut muffins,
rhubarb and strawberry muffins,

(some extra bacon, turkey sausage or sausage patties, eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms, sliced baby golden beetroot, Maple baked beans, olive oil, in the hidey place to cook up for the very hungry ones!)
