Oh Sylvia!!!!! Had a message from LK as well and I am so sorry that I couldn't reply to either one. For once I don't think it was GR's fault.

Anyway...Thank You!!!!!! Please give me a week or so before I get back to you. OH is on holidays this week and we're flying
to Baltimore tomorrow.No idea why but the plane fare was cheap and I think there will be fireworks on the 4th.

We were in New Orleans once for July 4th ......... that was FANTASTIC!!


I don't remember too much of the July 4 we spent in Austin Texas when we lived there ............... so it can't have made much of an impression on me!

Daughter usually phones on a Sunday, but didn't yesterday




Instead, she phoned this morning

Today is a Stat Holiday ................ in lieu of yesterday.




I wasn't even out of bed!!





It was 33C in Halifax yesterday ........ she said it was unbearable. It was 19C here :-(



They'll be here in less than 2 weeks.

Grandchildren have both made replica copies ! :-)

They are both going to see it come in - grandson with his nursery and grand-daughter with her school - she has a reserved seat to watch it arrive ! - they are bringing it in to her and she 'might' be allowed to touch it !!
