That's amazing Jonesey and what is even more amazing is that , as many people live to around 100 years of age, even a very few, slightly older, it is not impossible for someone in your same situation to still have a parent living.

That parent would then have actually met and maybe even remember all those generational links ! ;-) :-0 (If you see what I mean) :-S

What stories they would have to tell us !

Yes it was Dea but he said they might stay, not had a chance to talk to him yet as I made him strip off in the hall, chucked his stuff in the washer and sent him up to have a shower!

He's starving, got a headache and is £250 lighter for experience plus his car needs a valet as it is covered in mud inside and out :-0

Dea

Grandchildren are back to school and nursery this week - it will be quieter here :-D :-( :-( :-S

Son is still unemployed so we won't be needed quite so much !

I wish he could get a job but DIL has gone full time to bring some money in and I don't see him getting a job any time in the near future.

What is the world coming to ???

'Grandpa' (on the other side) is still out of action but starting to improve after more stays in hospital

I WISH I could win the lottery and make them all rich so none of them had to worry - I don't do it though so there is no chance of that !!;-)

Linds - I am thinking back to wedding photo's now - I think I have mentioned this before (BUT - on this thread - I didn't start a duplicate :-D :-D :-D ;-))

My wedding photo's show two distinct levels and it is quite clear which family is which !

I am almost 5ft 1" and by far the tallest in my family !

My husband is (was) 6 ft 4" (he has shrunk a bit over the years) - all his family, including the females were WAY over 6 ft tall !

It makes for an interesting photo

Happy days ! :-D
