Yuk Elvis's unwashed underpants!! No Thanks.
Just a quick visit WDYTYA is just starting and its Patrick Stewart .

I have spent hours trying to get my FT paperwork into some kind of order and I have got names and dates floating in front of my eyes :-(

Oh this is going to be a long job and I just want to get back to "finding" more rellies and oicking up where I stopped. Got loose threads that need tying up but HAVE to get organised first :-(

It would help if I could work out a system that I could actually understand ;-)

Excellent perspective Jonesey. Thanks for sharing that.

I remember Athur Negus on Antiques Roadshow pointing out that "Just because a clock belonged to your Grandmother desn't make it an antique. She might have bought it out of Woolworths ten years before she died" Fair comment.

Hello Malcolm..........which bit of Jonesey's advice have I missed then? :-S :-S

OH is on the 'cusp' of being diabetic. No meds, just diet at the mo. Just another thing to add to the list I suppose. :-(

Have been out with daughter all afternoon..........I'll have a rest when she starts work again I fink........could do with it...... :-D We had a storm and it bucketed it down......she doesn't like rain on her skin - to some with autism, rain feels like acid on their skin apparently.

You can keep those underpants Gins.........I'll send you some washing powder. I wouldn't mind a look at his bible though. It certainly looked well used. I once heard something to the effect of every home had a bible in it......somewhere but most were in pristine condition :-(

We have quite a few in varying translations and conditions....... ;-)

Internet is still intermittent - am hoping the problem is solved when I have been 'migrated' :-S :-S :-S :-S

Jonesey must be writing in invisible ink or Malcolm has posted a reply on the wrong thread! :-S

Cyn

I think this is the stage that they think I'm at .................. I have to go within the next month for another test.

I must say that I have found the diet adjustment very easy ................ and it hasn't affected t'other half very much at all.

I just cut out all added sugar (eg, in tea and coffee), cut down the size of the protein part of my meal as well as the overall size of the meal, and add some extra veggies.

I try to buy prepared foods (eg, cereals, bread) that have the least amount of sugar, and I don't eat sweet desserts. I water down fruit juice drinks, and only have about 4 or 5 oz at breakfast and with dinner.

and ......................... I've lost about 13 or 14 lbs in the last 2 months :-D

It does depend on how willing your OH is to adapt though :-D

................ especially no sugar in his tea, coffee, cocoa, etc.

Good luck
