If you put your zoom on your computer up to max its a bit grainy but you should make it out.

Come on folks I was chuffed I managed to get a picture on at all :-)

The photo was taken about 1912 the young man at the back is my maternal grandfather. he is with his parents and siblings.

My GGrandfather is the one that I needed help to find when I had first joined GR as he went missing from age two and a half to age of nineteen.

Dea,
Yes he turned up staying with another family but at the same address as he had been at with his mum (before she died) He was illegitimate and I like to think it was his father that took him in but cant prove it.

I do have a thread on here from when I asked for help its a long one. it was one of the helpers that found him for me.

French (eggy) toast, maple syrup, Golden syrup
Caribbean Banana Fritters


Toast (sourdough, rye, white, whole grain, 100% brown, Hovis, gluten free),
hot cinnamon rolls,
barm cakes,
croissants,
cheddar chive rolls,


cheese and onion tarts,
broccoli and cheddar quiche,
smoked salmon quiche,
Gruyere and bacon quiche,


Full English

Ulster Fry-up

The Railroader - 2 eggs any style, 2 buttermilk pancakes, 2 slices bacon, 1 slice of ham, toast

The Continental – choice of assorted chilled fruit juices, hot oatmeal or assorted cold cereals, toast or fresh-baked muffin

Banana Pecan Pancakes or English style pancaskes, served with maple syrup or Golden syrup, and choice of bacon, ham or breakfast sausage

Feta Cheese Omelette garnished with Hollandaise sauce, and served with chef’s hash browns and toast

Boiled eggs and toast

Scrambled eggs, bacon, baked beans, and toast

Huevas Rancheros


Maille Croque Monsieur (French ….. basically ham, cheese and tomato sandwich on toasted bread, with Maille Mustard),

It has been cold, wet, dark and horrid and miserable here today !

Yesterday, my grandchildren were spraying each other in the garden with the hose pipe and screaming with delight !!!!!

Where have all the 'seasons' gone ???
