Morning everyone. Not a very good one here - it's very damp and grey outside. Mind you, it isn't cold so that's something.

Thank you for breakfast and brunch Sylvs.......I'll start with porridge and see how things go :-D

Laines - I know just what you mean with your filing etc. It is SO easy to get side-tracked with photos and letters and........etc., etc., ;-)

I'll send a pm to Valerie to try and help her out.

Back later ~~~~~

Dea

Dea Report 2 Sep 2012 11:11

Valerie can't have a thread Ginns as she has only 2 posts under her name and both of them are on here :-S

Perhaps she is waiting for you to say it's O.K. to do it ?

Anyway, I am sure Cynthia's pm will get her sorted.

It is SO confusing when you are new to these boards.

I've sent Valerie a pm - don't know if she's opened it yet cos I haven't looked.

I reckon she's deleted and is in a quandry as to what to do next.

I doubt she will return to this thread to be honest.

I agree Dea, these boards CAN be confusing at first.

A busy morning but , hopefully, a quiet afternoon and evening.... :-D :-D

Cynthia - you would LOVE it here !!

I have 'old people's bungalows' behind me and from time to time they are inhabited by 'deaf' people !! :-)

The weather is quite warm so I have all my windows open and so do they !!

Someone over there seems to have 'Songs of Praise' going at ful blast ! - 'All creatures here on earth do dwell "

Good job I like a nice hymn !! (and I remember most of the words from school !)

I DID have a problem once when son was about 12 and the 'old VERY deaf person at the back, behind his bedroom also suffered fron insomnia !!

He/she had their TV on ALL night at full blast with the windows wide open - that was a nightmare !!

Fortunately, or unfortunately for him/her, they didn't live there for very long !!

Dea Xxx :-)

Dea

Dea Report 2 Sep 2012 18:45

To the tooth indeed Ginns !!

I always hated pasta because I cooked it at school when I was about 8 and I obviously overcooked it as it was 'slimey' !!!

I now know how to cook it nicely and it is REALLY nice !!!
