MC,

Interesting comments and I will indeed mention that test to my son. Stress could well be a factor for although he appears laid back on the surface recent events in his life may well be causing him underlying problems.

Thanks for passing your thought on.

Sorry Jonesey, my earlier remark might have come accross as being flippant

I'll send you some ((((( <3 Hugs <3)))))

Jonesey, it's a lot more common problem than people realise. If I'm not mistaken I think FBG had something similar a year or so ago.

Wouldn't do any harm to stock up on Gaviscon in the meantime!

Amazingly the body kicks up and reacts in all sorts of ways to stress... my OH went through the acid refux thing and heaps of gaviscon, and nother one called tums...plus another thing he used to get was cluster headaches.

Now no gaviscon, acid reflux or headaches once the stress side of things was sorted and less carbs.

Now it's creaking joints and arthritis.

Give you son a hug from me and I am sure it is not your wife's cooking but if it is food related it can be a beggar trying to find which one sets once off.

Give him one of Sylv's breakfasts... Dea eats a lot of them.. so they must be okay.

Jonesey

Jonesey Report 25 May 2013 17:06

No 1 son is now home.

He has been diagnosed as having Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome (WPW). In layman's terms this means that his heart has an abnormal additional electrical conduction pathway. Electrical signals from the brain through this additional pathway can cause the heart's ventricles to contract prematurely causing a rapid and irregular heart rate. Apparently this is a relatively rare condition which afflicts 0.1% (1 in 1,000) of the population and sudden cardiac death amongst sufferer's is very rare.

Initial treatment is via Beta Blocker drugs which is effective in most cases. No 1 son will have to undergo further tests to determine whether they prove effective in his case. In extreme cases where Beta Blockers are not effective it is necessary to physically destroy the additional pathway by radiofrequency.

Morning everyone!!

Bit dull here today just hope it stays dry so we can finish the back garden and get some creosoting done.

The night out last night was one of those Pampered Chef nights. Boy their stuff is expensive.

After the demo/selling part was over and she left it turned into a good night . :-)
