Oh poor Jonesey........you must be SO bored......... ;-)

Have been for a nice walk and met someone we haven't spoken to for a while, which was nice.

Came home, had coffee and then washed the kitchen ceiling and walls......as you do!

Off to a quick meeting about things including Child Protection etc. at church.

Have a good afternoon all...... ~~~

Well done Jonesey - I used to do that for Fanns too !

Hope she is doing well ??

Are you enjoying your free time ??

What are all the lovely things you are eating which you are not allowed to eat when the others are at home?

I like to have things that they do not like to eat like slow cooked breast of lamb with garlic and rosemary or thinly sliced lambs liver served on a salad with oil and balsamic vinegar dressing............... LOTS of other things too.

I expect you just have more cups of tea and unlimited fags as and when you want them ?? ;-) :-D :-D

Totally unhealthy but probably highly enjoyable ? <3

Let us know if you need anything.

Might not get back on till later as we are all going out for dinner (except the holidaymakers)

Evening All

Friday is a bank holiday on the Island because its senior race day, last race of the TT.

We also have the 5 July as this is Tynwald Day. We have an open parliament that day and the locals can petition the government at Tynwald Hill. It is the oldest parliament in the world.

We had the two Bank holidays in May and the one in August as well as the Easter and all the ones at Christmas.

Sounds like your looking forward to your weeks holiday Linds :-)

I love the sound of that slow cooked lamb Dea

Had a good meeting. We are shortly to be re-assessed as to whether or not we are 'child-friendly', so spent a while filling in the necessary forms........should be okay I think.

Glad you explained about the Bank Holiday Toots......was beginning to wonder!!! :-S

Night night Dea.....sweet dreams. :-)

Just watching a 'live' documentary on the D-day landings. Very clever stuff.....what brave men.... <3
