Linda,
Yes, I am still surviving. The nibbles were nice, thank you.
I've just taken a look at the Stramash website.
Particularly impressed by the backward leap from the water to the rocks. They sure make a lot of noise for just 5 of them. Here's hoping that the Italy tour goes well and profitably, if it does they might be able to afford to buy themselves some trews. :-D

Jonesey sorry missed your post.
The tartan plaids go down a treat abroad :-D
OH and myself have seen them love a few times and although I am biased they are very professional sounding.
They do practise a lot 18+ hours a week. Just wish they would hurry up and get "discovered" so my son can keep me in the style to which I would like to get used to if you know what I mean ;-)
I would love to have seen them when they performed in Beijing they had a huge crowd and were very popular and yes the are loud :-D
Glad you enjoyed the food <3

Hi all xxx
too busy to come on here before I went to the dentist .................. discovered that one of the bus routes that I use has been altered due to "construction"
it will now take me 3 (THREE) buses to get round to a place that I could walk to in about 15-20 minutes, if I was up to it.
It took me over an hour to get back from the dentist ............... 'cos I had to wait for each one of those darned buses.
still ....... it was a lovely day. Sunny and warm, with enough of a breeze to keep one cool :-D :-D

What a morning!!
Decided to go to the large M & S about 15 miles away as I have a voucher to spend.
Off we went but, going down the slip road to the motorway, the traffic ground to a halt... :-(
We sat and we sat and we sat. The young woman in the car next to us, wound her window down and told us that her husband had phoned to say that a lorry had shed it's load of planks over both lanes.
All in all, we were there for over an hour but eventually got moving again. We went onto the motorway, got off at the first exit and came back home for lunch. Ah well.....these things happen.... :-)

We followed a tractor up a quiet country lane that was pulling a trailer piled with large logs. We were not in a hurry so followed patiently joking about the wobbly wheel etc. We turned onto a more major road but still did not find opportunity to pass. Then he hit a bump and disgourged logs all qver the road in front of us. He was wearing ear protection so did not hear our horn. OH had driven straight at one of them and was stuck over this log with front end of the car raised in the air. The other cars in both directions stopped to watch me clear the rest of the logs from the road whilst OH tried to rescue the car and 3 kids from from the balancing act, I was not amused as I was 8 months pregnant and the logs were large and heavy. We caught up with the tractor driver in Otterton who was still oblivious.
