Went to get some shopping for my friend this afternoon. I'm not seeing her until tomorrow, but OH has 2 hospital appointments in the morning so I won't have time - thought I would get it over and done with.

Also decided to clean out my fridge and now I think the light has gorn.......sigh....

I tried that Cynths but it didn't work this time :-(

Another busy day. I stayed up late last night to see son and partner before they left this morning for Italy.

Got to bed about 1am and was wide awake. OH's alarm went off at 6am as he was taking them to meet the rest of the band at 6.30 :-(

OH's car had to be in garage at 8am and I had appointment at 10.30am

Then we had to go and exchange some stuff for sons partner.

When we got home we had to take a load of stuff to the refuse centre as son had missed the last entry last night. Also had to change the bulb in one of the indicators.

Will also have to take my car to get valeted tomorrow and I will be billing my darling son!

Never got time to do a washing so will have to catch up tomorrow.

Other son and family come home tomorrow so will visit them at some point.

I am shattered so sitting on my b*m.

Just got back frome home visits.

About to pour with rain I think.

OH has recovered quickly from his investigative procedure.

Dea I hope yours are going well.

Gins I must be getting older if I am reminiscing.

Mind you It does not seem that long ago.

Jonesey I hope you are being well looked after.

When does he get the results LK ??

raining this morning .............. so got wet going by bus to the financial person


Sun out by the time we were coming home .............. so needed sunglasses, which we had not taken.

now (about 1½ hours later) ................ big black clouds again


AND it's very chilly!


Financial advisor gave each of us a gift ....................... a big black folding umbrella :-D

The good news is ...................


we have enough to live on for the next 15 years, at our current rate of expenditure.


The bad news is ..................


after that, daughter would have to support us in the manner to which we have become accustomed :-D

Gins.....it will be the light bulb which has gone. I only got this fridge last year so I certainly ain't getting another.....thanks very much!!! ;-)



We haven't heard from David for a long time have we......... :-S

From my experience Sylvs - that means he charged you a 'whopping fee' !! ;-) :-D :-D

Can you not take off the fascia Cynths and replace the bulb ??

I did that on my microwave - It said I had to have it done by a qualified engineer but as long as you turn off the electricity you should be quite safe and save at least £50 + parts !

We changed the light bulb on one of our old fridges years ago if I recall correctly instructions were in the little booklet that came with appliance.

we can buy bulbs for fridges and cookers in our local supermarkets

Hopefully I will be home in time to nip over to my friend (10 miles) and drop her shopping in.

Looks like I will have to get a bulb for my fridge - it's all the getting down and scrabbling inside which gets me..........................in the knee area!!

It should have been my day off but daughter has a meeting so I am covering.

So leisurely breakfast then off to work for a late night clinic.

Dea he has been told it was clear.

Will see consultant soon to find out about MRI scan.

I am doing find thanks - I am having treatment now at Clatterbridge Hospital. - My 'Professor' I believe is one of only 6 people in the World offering this particular type of treatment - one more session next week then, hopefully, I will have finished (apart of course from lots of follow-ups and tests for at least the next 7 years... ;-) :-( )

Anyway all is looking hopeful at the moment <3
