It is said that you can post on one board and on Clinic without them being considered duplicate postings

But that does of course mean duplicate work being done :)))


EXCEPT do look at one of the very first postings (ie on p.2) on Clinic, by Evelyn ........... and see the response she got.

Fans is furious about it.



The thing is, they are so constrained by only being able to use 3 sites, that they really can't break down many brick walls.



and far more oldies are posting complicated brick walls than newbies are posting easy to solve problems!

That is what I meant Sylvia.
There was no need to put her down like that when she is one of the politest posters on here.
In fact some replies are sounding a little off all round and others quite scripted.
I would not want to upset any of these people but I feel they have put themselves into a beholden position and fear they will lose their enjoyment from their hobby.
For me it is the thrill of finding one little word in an alternative document that is the wall breaker. i would not want to be restricted like that.

I just wanted to straighten out that my post was a question, not a suggestion. I read some previous posts on the thread (including the previous post) which hinted at what people were actually feeling. However, rather than assume that they were definitely feeling that, I asked people on the thread. Hence it was not a suggestion, I was just genuinely trying to ascertain what people were actually feeling as the feelings around the clinic seem very strong.

I'd prefer if you didn't post comments about what I supposedly "suggested" on another thread without letting me know. I don't get the chance to read every thread and I'd like to have the opportunity to read and respond to what people say about me or what I supposedly said. I know you weren't being malicious, probably just trying to generate discussion, but it kind of feels like people are talking behind my back.

Well I rooted around and found the porridge Sylvs. I think I may have a long morning ahead of me so I need that extra sustenance! You may need more milk before Dea comes scurrying down. Fanks friend.
