William Gray (George's father) born Hull c 1796. He married a Jane Woodward who i'm also searching for born Hull c1801 They married in Hull 2/8/1819. He died in 1846 and she in 1863.

Margaret Hannah Pottage born Bubwith nr Holderness c1854 (not sure if this is covered by Hull) She married William Norris in Sculcoates 1/12/1875

Many Thanks Derek

I know the Parish records you have do not cover it but does the disc cover marriages in 1817 ? - I wondered if Ann and John's parents were mentioned on it. Or is Nathaniel and Margaret's marriage on it?

Hi Shemp....nice to hear from you again after so long.
At the moment I only have marriages 1830-1837 at Sculcoates.
This may fit in somewhere:

Robert Beadling married Ruth Briggs 23.02.1837

William Beadling (Widower) a seaman married Ann Foster (Spinster) 23.01.1832

In the Hull Holy Trinity records (Baptisms 1792-1812) there is a family that may be of interest to you:-

William Beadling and Elizabeth had the following children:
George 10.09.1802
Mary Ann 17.10.1804
Maria 11.10.1806
Thomas 13.07.1808
Henry 10.01.1810 (born 23.11.1809)

That is the onlky family in those particular records.

I also have a disc of about 20 East Riding Parishes 1530.1812..but Holy Trinity is not one of them, Sculcoates asnd Drypool are there..but Beadlings at all.

As this thread appears to be quite popular i will increase my records in the near future.
But my greatest love is still Derbyshire!

All the best

Derek
