Err...Sylv...I very beg your pardon 'Hoar' frost?

And yes is was the Cecil Francis (1899) thread. The poster didnt seem to think it mattered that he wasnt on the 1901 under that name, that his aledged parents didnt marry until 1902/3

And that his aledged mother registers his birth some 50 odd years later

Well...I smell a rat

Head in sand

well, it is mid-winter

in New Zealand

I can't remember the details of that search, although I did quite a bit back when.

Had anyone found him under a different surname, mum or putative dad on the 1901

and di Fans find them on the 1911??

Yep Sylv, a couple of births under different surnames and Fans got the 1911 with Cecil and co on

And as I remember at the start of thread...the mother had a different name!

Maybe we are all wrong ;)

hmmmmm

In the pm that Jane sent me the other day, she said she had got the information from Cecil's daughter .... I read it as that the daughter had given Jane the information on parents and date of registration etc

OOerr !! FBG - are you feeling 'stuffed' now ?????

I have just had 2 'hunky' police men here !! - looking after me!

I have to say, I live in a very quiet, respectable area but just past next door there is an 'alley way' which can be a problem at times.

I heard some youths and breaking glass so looked out my office window. One of them saw me and picked a crab apple of the nearest tree and threw it at me - It ricoched off my open window and hit me on the back of the head - OOOOwwwch !!!!!!!!

Thought I had better report it but didn't expect personal attention,

Anyway, they came to see if I was O.K.

Said I could 'do them for assault' for or 'unsociable behaviour' which I chose to do - the details will be passed on to the 'local' police and recorded on their records, if they can identify them.

Just got a headache now so going to bed soon.

SUCH an exciting life !!!!!

Yes Lady Kira - 2 of them 'all to myself' !! - How lucky is that ???

Just a little 'fuzzy' at the moment but that is probably due to the bottle of white wine I opened to get over the shock !! (Tee hee!!)

OOOppps!! - headache gone - I fear it will return in the morning !!

Dea

Dea Report 7 Jul 2010 19:59

Hi Ginny,

Yes - I understand what you mean - that's why I went for the 'anti-social behaviour' rather then the 'assault' - I don't think it was really meant BUT I wanted the local police to know the details for future reference. !

Dea (with a lump on her head!) Xxx

You are quite right FBG - with my background I should know better !!

I have put it away and got out the chocolate !!!

Thanks,

Cynthia Report 7 Jul 2010 20:17

Poor Dea......do you make jelly with those crab apples then?

Golly Gins, you do need your education broadening.....coths are cloths with the 'l' missing. Hoar frost is the name of a certain type of frost...loose crystals of ice or something. Now you have lost one of your threads....very careless of you.

Oh yea. I'll give you 'old lady' indeed. One should not mock the elderly......should one Sylv??

slap

Just wondering about opening my windows - Katherine Jenkins is performing in an open air concert not far from me tonight. Sigh.......can't be bothered moving - must have 'old lady syndrome'.

Off to message folk so that you get replies back!

Dea

Dea Report 7 Jul 2010 20:38

Thank you Ginny!!

I don't mind 'fatty' - in fact I quite like it, but I am not quite so sure about the 'tough fat bird' !!

Anyway, yes I will overcome !!

On to Mikey and Pete - where are they ???
