Had real probs trying to post my original message - it kept missing parts off, most odd!!

Anyway Gins, you will find the zimmers and walking sticks over there >>>>>>

Hope you have a great day.

LK - got my specs sorted now. I'd left them on the drivers seat and hadn't noticed them.......doh!

Have bought matching quilt for 'my' bedroom so that our rooms both look the same ..... how sweeeeet is that ??? ;-)

Dea

Dea Report 20 Aug 2012 13:54

VERY sweeeeet Cynthia !!

I must have got confused because I thought that OH's new bed was going next to yours, in the same room !!

Must be strange being in a different room :-(

Have a good time Gins....... :-D

No Dea, OH is now in the other room.......it has more space for his bed and his original recliner. I just thought it would be nice to have both rooms more or less the same for 'continuity'. I now sleep with a little green light from the 'baby' alarm which connects us. :-(

I've put the curtains up and am really pleased with the all over result........... :-D

Dea

Dea Report 20 Aug 2012 18:21

OOOhhh Cynths - I just love the idea of that little green light from the 'baby alarm' !!

Nice to know that you can 'keep in touch' !!!

When I was VERY ill a while ago, I had to sleep in the spare room because the bed in there made it possible to sit upright while I was sleeping - (that way I could have a chance to breath) !! ;-)

We have a phone system in our house wich makes it possible to use it as an 'intercom' so I would have one in with me and he would have another in with him so I could call him if I needed him in the night!

Same thing really but no green light :-D

Dea

Dea Report 20 Aug 2012 18:36

Thinking about it Cynths - at least you have the 'green' light which means that you can pop in there any time ;-) NOW, If he had given you the red light then you would have to worry :-D :-D

OH is still sleeping in the basement

.... he keeps thinking he will come back upstairs, but then decides it's too warm!

I sleep with ..............

the green and black screen of my alarm clock/radio,

the red and black screen of his alarm clock/radio

the little red light from the phone

and the glow from night lights in the 2 bathrooms shining into the bedroom

good job I prefer a light room!!

We have curtains at the window, but never draw them ........ it's OK, no one can see in that window, so we're not likely to scare the neighbours.

Plus we have a skylight that lets in all the light from the moon, stars, and ambient light from the street lamps.
