Thanks Jax :-D

I usually get an email about 2 weeks before rrenewal is due but so far today nothing will give it a few days and see what happens :-D

Dea

Dea Report 22 Aug 2012 13:11

Well, I have taken the plunge !!!

I have gone over to Mozilla Firefox browser from Internet Explorer which has been driving me mad !!! - It keeps freezing all the time and I have to keep re-starting it :-( :-(

WHAT A DIFFERENCE !!! :-D - It is like greased lightening !!! :-0

I still have IE open as well at the moment while I am trying to get used to the new one but I just did a comparison and refreshed this page on IE which took about 34 seconds!

I did the same on Mozilla and it took 2 seconds !!! :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

I can't believe I have not changed before :-S

I have tried it in the past but only for a day at a time when IE wasn't working but I am determined to get used to it now and stay with it .

I also noticed that when my security thingy is doing it's daily scan, IE runs VERY slowly (even slower that usual) but with the new browser there is no difference in speed.

SO, that's what will be taking up my time over the next few days, apart from more vacuuming, - getting used to the new one and transferring and organising all my info !!

That will keep me busy then ;-) :-D :-D

If you have turned off your auto renew you may not get an email I did'nt

At the stroke of midnight it told me to subscribe...so I gave it 10 mins :-D then clicked subscribe and I got the option of Standard or Platinum I clicked on standard and it said the 6 month price was £1.66 a month crossed out and replaced with £1.33...so that was a bonus

Yours maybe different to mine though

Gee

Gee Report 22 Aug 2012 17:31

Are you sat with a calculator then Mr J :-)

MargaretM

MargaretM Report 22 Aug 2012 17:37

Does that mean that when we reach the year 10,000 we'll be getting it free, Jonesey? (100% discount)

Jonesey

Jonesey Report 22 Aug 2012 17:41

No Gin, its the same discount that I got when I renewed on the 10th. ;-)

In any case you don't need a calculator to work that one out surely. :-D

Jonesey

Margee,

I believe that's an option but only if London is granted the 10,000 Olympics. ;-)

Very droll Jonesey........ :-D

It's been all go today.......again!! :-(

Took some stuff to the council tip and then called at a supermarket cos it's one way of OH getting some exercise.

Started to clean my bathroom walls all over with my lovely swivel headed flat mop from Lakeland and the swivel screw dropped out and it's head fell orf!! It needs something like a Philips screwdriver???? to tighten it back in.... :-S

Went to another supermarket with daughter this afternoon. She is looking for purple kitchenware. She adores purple and, so far, has her bedroom, bathroom and now kitchen in that colour. I think it has something to do with her autism but it all looks very nice actually.

Tomorrow is my day for taking my friend out...........no rest for the wicked eh?? ;-)

Dea

Dea Report 22 Aug 2012 20:47

Does he push the trolley Cynthia ?

I have to say that I also get my exercise walking around the supermarket - I feel safer pushing a trolley that I do walking unaided. I can also go slower as I ponder the shelves etc.

I park next to a trolley bay and pick up a trolley there and then push it back and I am right next to my car :-D
