It is Bank Holiday this weekend - I have 3 days off !!! :-D :-D :-D

No time at all Dea......it's quite a small thing really. I just wipe it with kitchen roll whilst it's warm to get the worst off - and then finish with the dish cloth. Simples!


Internet has been a pain again today. On/off On/off On/off grrrrrrrrrrrrr


Decided to sort out some old photos today. Took me ages and I've loads more to do :-(

Anyone ready for breakfast?

Selection of cereals, fresh fruits and yoghurts,

Porridge + various chopped fruits and nuts

In the warmers:

Bacon, eggs, sausages, kedgeree, hash browns, grilled tomatoes + mushrooms, baked beans.

Mushroom Quiche, Parmesan & Asparagus Quiche, Quiche Lorraine

Platters of various hams and cheeses

Fresh bread rolls and crackers,

Croissants and danish pastries.

Muffins - Lemon & Ginger, blueberry, Cinnamon & Sultana

Toast + a selection of sweet or savoury spreads

Tea, Coffee and fruit juices,

Enjoy.....................

Morning all. Thank you for that breakfast Dea it was just what I needed after having spent almost an hour on the phone to my ISP!

After apologising that I couldn't understand the operator very well, I eventually got put through to a lovely Scotsman.......... :-D


I just love being a very polite but very grumpy old woman at times!!! :-D :-D


So, for a couple of days, I may be coming and going cos my router is dodgy ..... wotever :-S

Boy oh boy, what faff getting connected this morning, almost went out to buy a new router but all the other devices in the house could get a connection so......

Rang BT and they had a message about some updates and connections have been affected. The message was so fast I didnt get time to hear it all but heard enough to realise that if you have McAfee on your pc you will have trouble

I unistalled McAfee and....BINGO...back online

Ive down loaded AVG as my sub to McAfee was up in 7 days anyway

- it only happened briefly yesterday evening - well, it might have been briefly, but it was late evening, and then I went to bed :)

No, we use AVG or Avast.

Gins, there is a documentary about Jess on the television today.

I know Joy, shes popping round to watch it over a few beers and a fag ;-)


I always use Avast or AVG but this pc came with a years free sub so left it on

Ive now had 3 call backs from BT to check if everything is OK :-S

Funny how several of us have been affected by internet probs...... :-S



My nice Scottish man said to try re-booting my router - and that's worked for now. Am having a new one on Tuesday - complete with engineer who will test my broadband speed - all free of charge.... :-D

Ginns - I kicked McAfee into touch several years ago - It caused nothing but trouble and conflicts all the time.

I went over to AVG and have never regretted it !!!

By the way Ginns - When we uninstalled McAfee, we found that it left all it's files behind and we had to go through and identify each one and take them all out manually !!! :-(

I have now had my 4th call back from BT :-S

I have Mcafee not had any problems with connection....infact since I changed to Sky and the router is in the same room, rather than by the incoming telephone point its been a lot better....or maybe its the new laptop?
