Kitchen plumbing sorted - new taps.

Shower to be looked at because that too, has developed a 'drip'. Never rains but it pours... :-(

I'm so pleased she seems to be setting in well Gins......it will help all of you if you know she is comfortable.

OH had his tooth fixed - to the tune of £18 which did not amuse him....hhahaha.

Tomorrow I'm off to another dentist with grandson whilst he has 2 teefs removed. Bless.

Cyns, the place is like a hotel, more staff than patients, 'real' waiters. in 'real' waiting uniform.

The patients can order food and eat when they want and need 24hrs a day

I am sooo happy for her, she is a tower of strength

Hi David

I'm the late nighter on here :-D

we always used to have fried bread done in bacon fat.

Now, I sometimes do it in either olive oil or canola oil ......................... not that I make it very often.

Fried bread isn't usually on the menu over here, even for a "full" breakfast.

Canadian full breakfasts usually have hash browns (or another kind of potato), and toast

Hi Sylvian.
Good to make your online aquaintance.

We had fried bread when I was a youngster, much younger than now.
I slice of bread and marge or fried bread was better than starting the day on an empty stomach.Since becomming responsible for myself I usually start the day with several cups of tea, unrtil about 18 years ago these were accompanied by a few cigarettes, but I quit that habit.............thank goodness
