Poor Jonesey..........sending (((hugs))) and hoping you will soon be feeling a lot better. <3

Boy.....what a day! Gas fitter came and sorted everything out with drilling and sawing and clanking etc.....it all looks very nice though.

No sooner had he gone when the TV man arrived. We have been offered a 'free' package from our ISP and phone company and thought we would set it up on the upstairs TV.

OH, bless him, had made an attempt when the package first arrived but hadn't quite grasped the finer points. The look on the man's face when he saw it, was priceless. Anyway, all sorted and working nicely..... :-D

Then if was off to Tesco for self and daughter.......now shattered.

Back later ~~~~~ ;-)

That Wife Saver casserole?

I'd never heard of it before ............ but the neighbour across the street came across on Saturday evening to "borrow" 6 eggs because her son wanted her to make it for Father's Day

I finally got around to googling it

apparently it is a Canadian "delicacy" :-D :-D :-D :-D

she replaced the eggs on Wednesday :-D

Jonesey, sorry to hear you're a bit under par and wish you a good night's sleep.

Do hope you get up to par again Jonesey even if you cannot get up to no good.

I find I lose concentration on here at times.. get the information and then put something else on the poor unsuspecting soul's thread. My mind goes off in a tangent, and then I have to lasso it back again.

As for himself he is a worry....

I get up this morning and he says to me you know that excess oat bran you put in the plastic pot in the pantry and the pot that is nearly empty on the counter... ..yes ... well I have put them together... Good...

But then he thought (now that's a dangerous thing for him to do) " the plastic container is not full so I will look for some semolina to add to it."

Right (we don't have semolina) .. " so" he says " I put what was left in this jar with the red lid" .... smiled (that's me)

him: "What was in it?" me "breadcrumbs, did you not taste it first?" Yes says he and it tasted okay.... so now he can have bready porridge of a morning save him bothering with toast.
