It was really strange this morning - I got up and it wasn't really early but it was SSSooo dark !

I went into the bathroom and opened the window to see if there was any snow.

I looked out and could not see the garage roof, or the wall of next door's house - for a moment I thought I 'could not see', then realised that I could see inside the house and the window frame so I was indeed not blind. !

Sounds silly but it was frightening for a moment. - I don't remember it being quite this dark at this time in the past. - It was about 7.30 am.

Dea......there's a main road with an incline outside and the cars are creeping up and down. arrrrggghhhhh.

Just been a light covering here, think it has gone now but I would think its frosty out

My Dad was born in Peasley Cross at the back of the fever hospital. Just down the road from Sherdley Park.

My family must like living near pubs called The Griffin Inn because there used to be one on the corner there too.

I noticed how dark it was this morning Dea but we are getting towards the shortest day!

Fans, don't draw the downstairs curtains, we just close the blinds - easy to peep out of too!

Jax..I used to do a 300 mile round trip every 2 weeks to see my boys as small children at one point when I was working in London for a few years...One of them has been to see me this year..The others phone or FB me ,sometimes,when they can be bothered...,kids are all the same until they get older and wiser or want something...The girls will get it together when they are older I expect,but if they are like my youngest,dont hold your breath ...

Toots, I used to live on Marshalls Cross Road where that hospital is. Went to Robins Lane School and the Cong church at Peasley Cross.

I dont know Renes, not even sure ex can drive at the moment as he had an accident a while back at work when he passed out and drove into a barrier nearly plowing down spectators at the air musium he works at, he could be epleleptic, but he has a partner who drives.
HID is working boxing night so he needs to sleep during the day, when I have calmed down I will ring ex see what he has to say
