Party cancelled...The chef cant get there,and if they did get there they def wouldnt get home as they live at the top of a long and windy hill.
Hope they can get there on Xmas day,cos they are cooking our Christmas dinner..!

Yep we have lots of snow now, shant be going out in it.

Noticed yesterday someone had copied one side of my family on ancestry and I know its what I researched as it took me ages working out all my nans dead siblings and date of births and no one else has these in their tree.
Anyway I thought who is this person so tried to see what connection she had and as she had 17000 people in her tree obviously no connection aghhhh.
Come on here today and what do I get....message from her giving my dads sisters name "can I view your tree" If I did open it she would be disapointed as there are only 50 people in it....This is the first time someone has asked to view my tree who is'nt someone that I have been helping on here.
Should I be angry?

I really hate these people with c 17000people on their tree !!!!!!!!!

I have not yet found one like this which has been properly researched and is accurate !

Someone on Ancestry has my grandad (my 'lovely' grandad - much treasured by me!) - I have tried to make contact to see how they connect but cannot get a reply !

It hurts me to think that he is on their tree and might not belong there !

Grand-daughter asked Santa for a cat teddy (she means a cuddly cat) for Christmas - I found a lovely one - persian, with HUGE lovely eyes and SSooo soft and cuddly !! - I stroked it all the way to the checkout and I don't even like cats !!

You can borrow it if you think it would help?

yesterday i had a vindaloo for lunch to warm me up, this mornin i had a vindapoo, might have to sit in the snow to cool it down

I did think of making it private not that there is a lot on it 156 but growing, but that particular side I had every single baptism except my nans including 5 that died as babies which no one else has bothered with...who are connected with this family.

To ask to see my tree giving my aunts name I find rather strange as she died on my 21st birthday and was my dads only sibling and I am the only one on here that has her in a tree but not on my ancestry one so she took her from someone elses

My trees on ancestry is private. I separate them into my father's direct line, my mother's direct line and because my cousin asked me to do her fathers line and a friends. That way contacts only see a small piece of the jigsaw. Complete trees are kept offline. No tree anywhere online has living people. Ancestry hide living automatically but sometimes it shows them so I don't risk it.

I wouldn't be angry (it takes up too much energy)but I would ask her about sources, especially as she has so many in her tree.

Yeah I have just sent her a message asking what her connection to this person is. Had it been gt grandparent its a bit different to my aunt who only had one son and that was in Australia
