Went to local Craft shop this afternoon as OH said I wasn`t to spend money on QVC as it`s his card that`s registered with them!!!
Got home to find that I had left my foam squares behind on the counter and I was all set to make some cards today as got easy decoupage stuff , just ready to press out , no need to cut.
Will get them on Mon , shop is only minutes away,

Hi all,
Had a day off from the computer yesterday as we went to Eindhoven to my daughter's partner's birthday party - 60th! I made him a lovely funny card.
Johan drove to Eindhoven and granddaughter Linda drove us back. We had a lovely time. There were 8 of us for dinner. Janet made a huge oven dish which was very tasty. She likes entertaining, just as I do, although cannot do so much as I used to.
Johan had another nose bleed on Wednesday but fortunately it stopped itself. I had planned to go alone with Linda if Johan still had a nose bleed, but fortunately he could come too.
I've been spending every spare minute making cards as I sold the last cards on my birthday.
I hope that you have a lovely skiing holiday Jill, but no accidents, promise?
Now have a nice evening everybody.

Good morning all and Sylvia --- I promise :)))) Cannot get broken bones if I stay in the mountain bar :))))))
I did get tempted by some pastel foiled vellums yesterday and did end up buying, they did look so pretty and I do love vellums.
Its still very damp and grey over here but at least its not as cold.
Hope you are all having a good weekend

xx Jill

Hi all,
Just a quick one today to see if you are all present!
Jill I have sent you an e-mail
I have cleaned the veggies for dinner and am going to take a shower and then back to card making. Yes, I am still in my nightgown - well, it's Sunday! I was up before 7.00 am though and we have had breakfast.

Jill, must admit on Saturday nothing inspired me to get the plastic out. Love Paper Nation but too much I wouldn't use. Will wait for the sheets I want to appear on ebay and buy then.
Still raining here. No crafting today Granddaughter here for weekend.

Good morning all. Not raining here at the moment but very grey and dull. Quite mild though.

Not doing much today, got the gas boiler being serviced some time tis morning and a new Freeview box being installed this afternoon. wonder if they will both turn up?

Had to clear out all my craft stuff for the freeview man as the box goes in the same corner. Heavy it is too! all that card and paper! I suppose it means I can have a good look and see what I have got!!

Hi all,

I hope everyone is ok. It's a bit grey and miserable here, but at least the rain is holding off.

I didn't get the TSV on Saturday but I notice there is a Craft Outlet session on QVC tomorrow morning so there may be some bargains there. I have really enjoyed using the last Docrafts TSV though, I must have made 20 odd cards already and there is so much stuff still left.

Are there any more Dec/ Jan ATCs to come? I have received from Sylvia, Jo, Heather and Carol so far.

I am decorating Beth's room at the moment so I'd better get on,

Liz

Will be watching the outlet show tomorrow on QVC you never know there might be a few bargains.

Weather here very windy today, but no rain so far this morning, although it was raining when I got up at 6am!

Sue the wedding verse I like its very simple but I think says it all.

Today you marry your friend
The one you laugh with
Live for
Dream with
And love

Good morning,

I hope you don't mind me adding again.

I just wanted to share with you the lovely experience I had just now when the lady from Graphicus phoned me. They sell the unmounted stamps and cds by Glenda Waterworth, some of which I had ordered. She had phoned to let me know that there was a cheaper deal with more stamps included and would I like to change my order......wasn't that nice of her?.....brings back ones faith in human nature :-)))))

am still unable to commit to joining you all yet but still read the thread.

Susan what a lovely thing to do.Glenda always seems very helpful when she's on C & C.
I must have a look at her new stamps, caught a glimpse of them the other day.

Well it's a dull dreary day in Cheshire again :)
Lots of hw chores to do today, then I need to tidy my craft room up, got a bit messy yesterday :))

Hope you are all ok.

Hi all,
I was going to do some household chores today but woke up with a lot of pain in my stomach. I have had this cystitis now for more than a year and had just finished my last lot of tablets, but it is obvious I need more tablets as I'm losing blood too.
I tidied my craft things up too Ann and also made some more cards. This afternoon I went to the doctor for a rash I have on my heel and under the foot. Why do I always get everything?
The doctor said I must be very strong to have gone through what I have done these last few years, but I have heard this before. It is not very comforting.
Is anybody the owner of a cuttlebug? If so, is it really worth the money? There are several people on marktplaats (like EBay) who offer cards cut with the cuttlebug at a reasonble price. I have bought some and decorated them myself.
Have a nice evening.

Sylvia; I have a Cuttlebug and very pleased with it but need to buy a few more dies and embossing bits to use with it. Also thank you for the site as have place an order for lots of embellishments.
Hope you soon get yourself sorted out , its no fun to be suffering with that for so long, have you tried drinking lots of cranberry juice?

Sylvia, sorry to hear that you are suffering. I too have a sore heel, rubbed it with one pair of trainers and now it just wont heel. isn't it the so called 'little' thingss that make life difficult?

Must get around to making more cards. Been at a meeting all morning and now have minutes to type up if I can make head or tale of them. Having a hearing problem and being minutes secretary is a real problem!!

Hi girls,
Well no pain today but having to visit the loo too often makes life a misery. I must phone the urologist tomorrow as promised.
Jill, yes I do drink Cranberry juice but this is so deep seated I don't think it is going to be simple to get rid of it. I have a slow working thyroid gland and diabetes and these are two things which can make you have cystitis I have read. When the doctor looked at my records yesterday (a new doctor for me) he said "my, you've been through the wars", and you must be strong to have pulled through. This is the 2nd doctor to have told me this.
Ann, I used to be a secretary too and had meetings to attend. I was always scared I wouldn't be able to read my own shorthand. Some years ago I had a meeting here to attend for a friend of ours - he was a professor in veterinary science. I hadn't done any shorthand for years so was really scared. Anyway managed to make a report for him.
What is Dufex?
I find Lakeland expensive compared with the prices here.
I've just found another site here and ordered lots of Sticklers glue as the price was good and if I spent 20 Euros then I wouldn't have to pay postage. Well, I made sure I spent 20 Euros!
