Yes Ann, walking on air.
The weather has been real Springlike and I can see the trees opposite us getting fuller by the day. Yes, they are in bud. It seemed only yesterday I was watching them shed their leaves, now I'm watching them growing new ones. The birds are also flying backwards and forwards more than usual. Does this mean little ones in the nest soon I wonder?
We have daffodils and narcissus in full bloom along the wayside here.
Had unexpected visitors for coffee today - a good job I made a cake yesterday afternoon. These are the friends of ours who won 7 million guilders on the lottery a few years ago. They bought me a huge bunch of orange tulips.
See you tomorrow.

Good evening ladies.
Been a lovely sunny day over here , frosty but lovely to run the dogs in the fields. Have managed to pack all the ski wear so just need to pack our normal clothes, luckily its all jeans and jumpers.
Think all my cards are in the post or ready to go, so no mad panic trying to get them made and sent.
Hope you are all having a good weekend

xx Jill

Morning everyone, lovely and sunny here today, but very frosty, the sort of day I love.
Off now to attempt to make some cards, everything has been against me so far in getting them started.

Hi everyone, not done very much today as I had to help OH by sorting and putting all my books back on the shelves in his office. There is so much in the off ice that he is decorating it wall by wall. Tomorrow he has to dismantle his computer desk and probably the modem (I may not be on line tomorrow if I am unlucky and he can't fix it for me) to do the last two walls. looking around me I really dread doing this room (my office.) All my pc stuff, family history folders and ring binders, books, CDs, craft stuff. A nightmare! No wonder these rooms don't get decorated very often.

Just ordered mattress topper for our bed to see if it helps my back problem.

Actually made two cards today from a kit that I had with Quick Cards made easy. supposed to be for Mothers day and valentines cards but I have made them into birthday cards. Quite pleased with them.

Hope you are all OK

Hi all,
First of all, have a lovely holiday in Canada Jill. I wonder whether Jill will contact us from Canada?
Nice to have you Ginnie. We can't see you type, so you can take all day!
Ann, Whenever did we buy crafts which we needed? I think I could go for years now without "needing" anything. My flat is more like a shop now.
Ann, why "your books" in "your husband's" office?
Nice dry day today so went out on my scootmohile and found a few bargains. Found some lovely little plastic baskets for 0,50 cents each, with handle, which will be useful for my bits and bobs. However can they make something like that for 0,50 cents?
Johan's new relax chair came today so he put it together and is now doing what the chair says "relax". I hope they (the firm) keep their promise and pick up the other chair which had the zip covering broken.
My poor granddaughter had her scooter stolen. She was visiting her girlfriend and came out of the house and found scooter gone. Poor Linda is a hard working young girl and this is quite a blow to her as she has to go to work now by bus and this means getting home a lot later too.Why cannot some good for nothings keep their fingers off other people's property?
See you all tomorrow.

hi
Sylvia my books are in most rooms in the house. OH doesn't read books so any book shelves have my books on them, including the shelves in his office.

Sorry to hear about the scooter being stolen. Not just a UK problem then? Hope she gets it back or they find who took it.

Hope Johan is very relaxed now after he has his new chair.

I was watching qvc yesterday,Dawn Bibby, no I didn't succumb, anyway one person had rang or wrote in saying she had made 800 cards last year, got me thinking how many cards I made, including all family, friends, christmas & charitiy boxes I did approx 500 cards last year omg.

How many did you make?

HI, all,

Ginny welcome, enjoy our chatter.

Sue - happy birthday

Jill - have a good holiday.

Sylvia, sorry to hear about your latest troubles, I hipe your granddaughter gets her scooter back (I had a scooter when I was 18ish, but couldn't keep it balanced, it was too heavy. Motor bikes and scooters -and indeed cars - were for males!)

I watched QVC, and didn't fancy the TSV, too much of the wrong things. I bought more than I intended, including the bow maker, which came with a 'paper crimper' and I have one of those. However, before opening the bow maker, I happened to browse the Lakeland catelogue, and there was the bow maker and staples for £14, instead of the over £20 I paid QVC. Not surprisingly, the QVC bowmaker has been returned. Next time I watch, I will have the Lakeland catelogue to hand!

Love

Anne
