Hi Sylvia, at least you have no pain now, that is something.

My problem with the minutes is that I don't do shorthand. However they are very good and usually precis what they want in the minutes for me.

Morning all, Sylvia glad to hear you are feeling a little better, what do they have to give you, stronger antibiotics? Have ordered some A4 and A5 storage boxes from ebay so I can keep all my crafting 'bits' no idea why I use the word bits, I have enough to fill a small room)
going to then put them all in a labeled in a large book case in my dining room, hopefully will then be able to find things.

Morning,

Jojo sounds like you are getting organised :)) Can you come & do mine for me.Gosh all the little bits soon mount up don't they.
Sylvia, glad to hear you are getting better xx
Ann I know exactly what you mean about minutes, it used to drive me mad sometimes rewriting them out, glad I don't have to do that anymore.

Hi all

Did anyone else order the Paper Nation TSV from QVC on Saturday? Mine arrived today and I'm really pleased with it. Have made 2 cards from it already.

Did I need it? Well, No, not actually. Like everyone else, have got so much stuff - just cannot make enough cards to use it up. I'm still using stuff I bought 5 years ago!!!! And I'm not thrifty with it.

But it's fun and it doesn't hurt anybody - so what the hell!!!

I probably should not have to ask this but what is the paper nation TSV (what is TSV?) I don't watch the craft programmes on TV because they would be too tempting. Just back from town and yet again manged to buy four books to add to the pile of unread books in my room, plus a couple of cheap stick on topper packs and a £1 pack of 3 sheets of holograph paper. No I don't need it or know when I will use it but I liked it!!!

Sue I was so tempted as I love paper nation decoupage, but there was so much in it I would not use as I don't like stamping and there were too many dogs!! Toyed with the idea of buy and selling the bits I didn't want on ebay!!

Ann the tsv (todays special value) is on QVC it is a product or bundle of products for sale, at that price for 24hrs only, at a greatly reduced price if you went in the shops and bought it. The only thing is they are sometimes quite a large amount of products especially when it is a crafting one. Paper Nation is a crafting company they specalise in decoupage. The Paper Nation one on Saturday was £120 worth of decoupage sheets, shrink plastic stamps, stamp pad cards envelopes etc. Looked really good, but so much! They have a crafting one about once a month. Create and Craft are the same but have one once a week and today it is a Joanna Sheen CD which is not available anywhere else.
Hope that all makes sense!!

thank you Jo, I learn a lot on here and I see I am wise not to watch QVC!

Just to let you know I have sent out the following email to all BGs:

Hi all,

I have been moved to tears! Why? I have just arrived home after the most horrendous day at work and what is awaiting me? A beautiful arrangement of roses in a ceramic cup & saucer (very apt for a Potteries girl), with a lovely card from The Birthday Girls thanking me for the group!

Thank you so much, I am really touched. I loved looking after you all, and I hope to continue being part of the group for a long time to come. I'll try and get a photo of the flowers and post it so you can all see how beautiful they are. I'll need to enlist daughter to help with that though.

Thank you all again, and especial thanks to Jo and Heather for taking over administrating the group. Oh, and to whoever organised the flowers, a big (((((hug))))).

Love Liz xxx

Hi all,
Does anybody know where I can get a stamp made to stamp my cards "created by". I don't really like stamps but suppose there is not much alternative.
I had my help in today and we made a start on Spring cleaning my craft room. Anita kept saying "you haven't used that for ... years shall I throw it away". I had a job persuading her that I hope to have more time in the future to spend on my crafts.I have several boxes of tea bags, but haven't really managed to develop this hobby yet, but when I do I know I'll need lots of tea bags.
I know I am a hoarder, but then aren't all card makers hoarders?
See you tomorrow,.

Sylvia I had some stickers made by someone selling them on ebay, they put on exactly what you want, found them so easy and fairly cheap.

Morning girls,

Jojo I'm sure you will find some inspiration, hope we get to see them when you've finished.
I put my finished cards in my blog, photobucket is not my friend this week :))

Sylvia I have a little stamp with 'created by' on it, but I have to write my name on it too, it cost about £4.
What about creating your own labels on the PC?

The sun is shining here, lovely day again.
I might even clean windows, oops naughty word.

Speak later

Hi all,
Well I am spoilt for choice now that you have all given me ideas for a stamp "created by". Will have to weigh these up later and order. Thank you to all those who responded.
Today was one of my slow days and took me ages to move around and get dressed this morning, so Johan got the breakfast. I then got going and did some ironing and paid a social visit to my neighbour who is always pleased to see me. This afternoon Johan and I had a pedicure, so now our tootsies are feeling good!
See you tomorrow.

Walking on air now then sylvia?

It was a lovely sunny day here today but very cold with a biting wind. we didn't do a lot, got the grocery shop, then OH cleared a few bits of rubbish from the loft and took them to the dump. I played on here for a while then tidies away some bits from OH's office which is the next room for decorating. (this weekend). Then I made one card.
Should be thinking about making Easter cards as it is early this year. Do you all make Easter cards?
