(It isn't a matter of time of day -- we are watching Coronation Street from February 2010 at the moment, and I imagine the US and Australia are some time behind as well. And we just prefer not to know what happens 10 months before it happens!)

I speak proper by the way because I was born in London E.17 and have lived in Essex most of my life, but HID is a scouser who for the last 20 years had lived in Dudley area then down south so not sure what accent he has now

Might have been able to get her a few more prezzies but those Spanish Hombres are right tight and the lampost didnt have gas but neon,so a little too harsh for me.
Just finished reading and catching up on here while eating my chinese takeaway and now crackered even more.
Long day and a bit tearful after Renes and PP (my name for her HID on here)went home after dumping us at Malaga.But of course I only cried with joy at getting away from them at last though..;)
But I still HATE flyng,so they wont see us back there for at least ...Ooooooo,ummm,Hmmmm,a few months at least.
So tired I will have to tell you some more tomorrow..

I'm not trying to stop anybody doing anything, Julie.

Often, people are considerate of others who haven't seen a movie or TV show, and don't speak in their presence about what happened. I guess if nobody had ever noticed chat about how Canada and other countries some of us are known to come from do not see Coronation Street currently (or any of my frequent joking about it on the Chat board, how people must absolutely stop talking about things from the future), it wouldn't occur to them.

So as I said, I'll stay away for the weekend. It's after 5 Friday now, I've had my work for the weekend dumped on me, I'm out of cigarettes, and I'm beat, so I'll go lie on the couch and watch East Enders ... as soon as the 5:30 Corrie finishes taping. ;)

Anyhow, I don't really want to hear tales of Spanish sunshine as I prepare to go trudging through snow ... !

Spent about 3 or 4 hours on a thread last night on TTF then she deleted it Aghhh not knowing she also had a thread on records Aghhh again.

I'm surprised Canada is only 10 months behind the UK ........ at one time episodes from 2 years earlier were what was being shown!

I am surprised you are so far behind...but as there are now 5 episodes a week it would be hard to catch up unless they showed a few every day for a while.

well, they didn't start carrying Coronation Street right at the beginning .................. they're actually celebrating the 40th anniversary of it being on tv here.

So, how do you catch up?

I think it was only on once a week at first, then it became an omnibus edition on either Saturday or Sunday morning

It's currently on every week day evening at 6:30-7:00 pm, and then from 7:30 am to 10 am on Sunday morning on our national CBC station

................. but it does get pre-empted at times, eg, when it is the ice hockey Stanley Cup games.
